HP Pavilion Chromebook

After Lenovo’s announcement to release its ThinkPad X131e Chromebook, another company is ready with its Chrome OS laptop. A leaked specification document reveals that HP is planning to bring its Chromebook, the HP Pavilion.

The HP Pavilion would have 14” BrightView LED-backlit display with 1366 x 768 resolution. According to the specification document (PDF), it runs on Intel Celeron 847 (1.1 GHz) processor. Other features of Pavilion Chromebook include 16GB SSD, 2GB DDR3 SD RAM, HP TrueVision HD webcam + microphone, WiFi and Bluetooth. Its 4-Cell 37WHr 2.55Ah lithium-ion battery would offer just 4 hours 15 minutes backup, which is disappointing, as compared to other Chromebooks.

There is no price or release date information at the moment, but we hope to see the official announcement soon. (via The Verge)
