Opera Software will release a stability update for the current release before the upcoming major release, the Opera 12.00 (Wahoo). This update, Opera 11.51, is aimed to bring few minor changes in the current release, the Swordfish. Opera has already released two Release Candidates for this upcoming version.

According to Opera, “There are some important bugs we need to fix in the 11.50 (Swordfish) line. Hence there will be an 11.51 maintenance/stability release between 11.50 and 12.00”. Several bugs and issues have been fixed with this release, and the Opera 11.51 final will be available soon. Interested users can install the RC build from here.

Opera Wahoo

Opera 12.00, codenamed ‘Wahoo’, is the next major release for the desktop version of Opera browser.  Announced in July 2011, this version is expected to bring many new features, developer tools and refreshed UI. The pre-alpha version of Opera 12 is available through Opera Next.
