Maxthon recently released preview version of Maxthon 4, which has been renamed as Maxthon Cloud Browser. Reason for the change in name is quite obvious, as Maxthon has introduced many cloudy features in this new version. :) These features include Cloud Push and Cloud Download. We have covered some features in our news section here.
Maxthon has also tweaked its layout and introduced a brand-new smoother design with less-cluttered interface. If you are surprising how to view and delete the browsing history in Maxthon 4, we have the solution for you. Users can view their browsing history items from the main menu of Maxthon, as shown in the screenshot below. Maxthon also supports the usual keyboard shortcut for accessing the history items: CTRL + H.

Hit these keys simultaneously and the History page should appear instantly. As shown in the following screenshot, you can delete individual items (and history of a particular date) by clicking on the cross button.

Sync History in Maxthon

Maxthon also offers synchronization of browsing data including history across multiple devices. If you use Maxthon on Android and want to sync your data with the desktop version, you can easily do that by using the built-in sync feature of Maxthon. On the same history page (opened via CTRL + H), you can find the option to sync history items (top right section). You can also find the option to restore the last browsing session in Maxthon. Of course, for sync, you need to create an account with the Maxthon Passport service – which is free.
