Firefox 11 Nightly Build

After the release of Firefox 8.0 as stable version, all other channels of Firefox will be updated soon. The Nightly channel of Firefox has got Firefox 11 (Firefox 11.0a1), and the Firefox 10 will be upgraded to the Aurora channel soon. Similarly, Firefox 9 will go the beta channel for testing the upcoming features.

As we see the development of Mozilla Firefox, Firefox 10 and Firefox 11 will have lots of improvements and new features. For example, Firefox 11 is expected to get support for Google’s SPDY protocol. This will boost up performance and speed of Firefox for the sites supporting SPDY. Also, the TraceMonkey will be removed from Firefox 11 as now it is of no use. Hence, JaegerMonkey will become the only JIT compiler of SpiderMonkey, the JavaScript Engine of Firefox. Read this article for more information.
