UC Browser for iPhone 8.3 with Evernote, Multi-Touch and Quick Reads

UC Browser, which is currently the fifth most popular mobile browser worldwide, has released version # 8.3.0.140 for iPhone users. This new version has several new exciting features like Evernote integration, multi-touch and quick reads.

The Evernote integration allows users to quickly clip webpages to their Evernote account directly from the UC browser on iPhone. This way users can synchronize their notes on multiple devices using popular note-management tool, the Evernote. The following video demonstrate Evernote clipping on UC Browser along with the other new features:

The new Multi-touch feature lets users perform several actions quickly and hence enhances the browsing experience. Users can swipe their fingers for actions like open, close, switch to tabs and go backward or forward. With this version, UC browser has added another new feature “Quick Reads”, which is almost similar to the Dolphin’s Webzine. The Quick Reads offers 150 news sources divided into 8 different segments. Users can easily navigate through it and read latest news and updates from the top websites.

UC Browser 8.3 on iPhone now offers improved auto-complete for address bar. UC Mobile claims that the URL auto-complete is around 90% accurate which may be a real boon for the users struggling with typing on mobile devices. There are several other user-oriented optimizations and stability fixes in the newer version.
