Chrome 18 has got its first update in less than ten days of releasing. This update fixes various bugs and upgrades the integrated flash player plugin of Chrome to the latest version.
Google Chrome’s stable channel has got an update today which brings Chrome 18 with many new features. The highlights of Chrome 18 are faster graphics support and over nine bug fixes.
Google Chrome team has taken a very important step towards enhancing the security of extensions and apps by enabling the Content-Security-Policy (CSP) by default. This means that the extensions would have to follow strict guidelines for resources, which would prevent 96% vulnerabilities found in Chrome’s extension system.
In the latest Canary build of Google Chrome, the “Options” page has been completely redesigned again. The new design looks sleeker, and uses smaller font size with just two settings tabs.
