Mozilla has decided to delay the release of Firefox for Android on ARMv6 platform. Now, Mozilla team is targeting Firefox 17 for Android to support ARMv6-based phones and tablets.
Firefox for Android will finally support ARMv6-based devices starting with the version number 16, which is scheduled to release in October.

Firefox on Android currently supports only ARMv7 platform, which means around 58% Android users even don’t have a compatible device for Firefox. Mozilla has addressed this issue now and support for ARMv6-based handsets is coming soon.
