Mozilla has released a preview build of Firefox for Windows 8 ‘Metro’ UI. The current build can be downloaded for both, the 32-bit and 64-bit OS, to test the features of upcoming Metro version of the browser.
Mozilla’s Brian Bondy has posted some screenshots of the metro prototype and shows up platform integration and other features.
Mozilla has upgraded the nightly channel of Firefox to a newer version, the Firefox 14. The scheduled release date of Firefox 14 as final stable version is 17th July 2012, and along with the regular version, Mozilla may release a metro version of Firefox 14 for Windows 8 users as well.
Mozilla has announced 2012 roadmap for Firefox. This roadmap shows up various upcoming features of Firefox, including a new version for Windows 8 Metro UI.
